Our aim

The Grand Lodge of Kazakhstan wants every visitor to be able to read this website and to move through it, whatever device or assistive technology he uses. The site aims to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1.

These guidelines explain how we have made our website more accessible

• Every page uses headings in order, so that a screen reader can move through it section by section.
• Images that carry information have a text description.
• Text is black on light backgrounds and white on dark ones, for the strongest contrast.
• Text can be enlarged in the browser without loss of content.
• Every menu and link can be reached and used with the keyboard alone.
• Movement on the page stops when the visitor’s device asks for reduced motion.
• Each page declares its language, so that assistive technology reads it correctly.

If any part of the site is difficult to use, write to the Office of the Grand Secretary at grandsecretary@masons.kz. The Grand Lodge will answer and will correct the problem.
